No, GoTravel, you were right. The Swan was absolutely the epitome of bad taste. It was completely scary. Reality freak that I am, I watched a couple of episodes but then even I had to give up. Gross. :-&

I think one of the neat things about the show is that the Amish kids seem to have had an effect on the city kids. They've definitely become less shallow and more interesting as the show continues along.
Unlike another reality pair who can only muster the words "that's hot!" in episode after episode after episode.

Hopefully, some of the positive things the city kids have to share will rub off on the Amish kids as well. Such as
the importance of education and that men and women can be and do anything --
men can clean up after themselves and women can have careers in areas that don't involve sewing and cooking.
