There is lots to do; it is very scenic. Santa Fe is an hour away.
Do a search on here: type in Albuquerque in the box at top of page. Also go to DESTINATIONS link at top of page and read some really good info that Fodors has on both cities.
When will you be here and what kinds of things do you like to do?
Hope this helps...

Thanks, I'm just learning to use this site so will follow up on your search recommendations. Plan to be in Albuquerque end of February to early March. We like beautiful scenery, architecture, hiking, nice restaurants, art, history and interesting residential areas. Any suggestions would be great!

I think from what you've indicated, you would really enjoy a trip to ABQ.
The weather won't be at its best but you should still have sunny days and cool evenings at that time of year. Temps change 30 degrees from day to night, so layering is the way to go.
Lots of places to go and see and do with terrific restaurants, Native American culture, galleries, museums, mountains etc. etc. etc.
You will need a car to really see and do.
There are several ABQer's on here that will be happy to give you specifics as you get an idea of what you want to do.
Do the searches, see what interests you and then ask away. Also, if you click on my name, you can see some of the posting I've done to answer similar questions. And click on the New Mexico in the drop down list to see whats there too [although often people don't highlight that when they post, so not every topic goes there].
You can also email me direct if you wish.
Hope this helps...
