Airfare Booking Question

Hello
I'm trying to book a flight departing on 4/7. I know that the cheapest fares are available on Tuesdays, but since it's less than 2 weeks away, should I book ASAP or wait until tomorrow. Help please...
Thanks!!!!!!

LOL
VERY true, Thanks JayZee!
I just know if I book today, they'll be cheaper tomorrow - BUT if I wait, they'll probably double.

According to AARP (& Others)
~ "Wednesday from midnight to 1a.m. in the time zone of the airline's "home base." ~

For my itinerary, it just works out for Tuesday.

***Although, there are a lot of varying opinions on this. That's why I posted my question. I wanted to know others experience, before booking and possibly missing out on a great deal.

Sorry, forgot to mention this too.

Booking a flight at least 2 wks in advance is best. In all my experience+, fares are higher on the weekends and usually the best deals are posted on Tuesday/Wednesday.

Hope that helps Cindynpp!

Our experience has been that often it is cheaper to fly Tues and Wed not necessarily booking those days. Plus some airlines will offer vouchers if the rate does drop after you book. Waiting until the last minute maybe costly.

Good point Hulajake!

I think I'm going to just book now, and hope for the best. Thanks.

In general, the closer the time to the flight, the higher the ticket. The airlines know some people have to fly on short notice and they can stick them with a higher price.
