Air Purifier
My workplace is going to be under (HEAVY) construction for the next two years. I already have an air purifier for my immediate area but I'm curious about the portable ones. Does anyone have experience with the Ultra-Mini Air Purifier sold at Magellan's?

I also found one at Sharper Image that is less expensive but it is heavier.
If this is going to be a two year "accessory," I'd rather splurge for the 1.5 ounce one rather than a 5 or 7 ounce item.

I know nothing about the Magellan's but the Sharper Image's is all about ionization which is something that you do not want! For allergy purposes you can use a Honeywell or anything else with a HEPA filter. Do a Google search for more info on why SI's aren't good. I know there was an article in the L.A. Times about 2 years ago discussing them.

We have a Holmes air purifier. There are many different sizes depending on your needs. It came from Target and has been very helpful at removing dust. Not exactly portable, though.
