We haven't stayed here, but it is very close to Oswald West State Park which is a beautiful place.
It's a short hike back to the cove/beach but really beautiful and the surfing is pretty good here, also. Take a picnic and spend the afternoon here. There are even complimentary wheelbarrows for you to haul your stuff down to the beach. ***kim***

Thank you for the information. The wheelbarrows sound like a great way to get my two year old and all his beach "gear" to the beach. We are also thinking about spending a few days at the Inn at Otter Crest, outside of Lincoln City I believe. Are you familar with that Inn?

Their restaurant, The Flying Ductchman has one of the most extensive wine-by-the-glass selections I've ever seen on a PNW menu! Very impressive, I would go for a stay here! www.innatottercrest.com is the website for others who are interested in this property. ***kim***
