Adolphus in Dallas

I'm not very familiar with Dallas. Is this hotel within walking distance of the entertainment Deep Ellem or West End?) Thanks in advance for your help!

Yes.Deep Ellum is less than a mile as the crow flies to the east and the WestEnd is about the same distance to the west.

Technically, both these areas are within walking distance. I think Deep Ellum is a tad over a mile from the Adolphus; however if you're planning to visit either areas during the evening, you may want to use a taxi to get back to the hotel. I honestly don't know if I'd walk back from Deep Ellum area down Commerce St. to Adolphus. You have to cross under the highway and altho it's an okay area ~~ well, I still wouldn't be out walking on streets late at night.

Wow, when I was there I didn't consider it walking distance and it sure seemed like more than one mile. I wouldn't plan on walking there if I were you...you'll be disappointed. The hotel is very nice though. Ask for a corner room facing downtown.

I'm anative Dallasite and I definitely wouldn't walk from the Adolphus to Deep Ellum. The area in between the two isn't very safe at night. Take a cab; it won't be more than $5 and it's worth it for your safety.
