A Girdle on the Plane?

Seriously, one of the problems with sitting on long flights, is the danger of forming clots in the legs. I would think that wearing a constricting girdle would make the chance of clotting even worse.

This reminds me of a story a friend told me in the early 80's. She was one of 5 sisters. She married at the age of 21 right out of college.
She was going out shopping. Her newlywed (jokester) husband asked her to pick up a couple of new jocks for him as he was a high school gym teacher. He told her to make sure she got the model with the "extra deep pouch."
After asking a couple of people at the sporting goods store she was finally told by a female clerk that there's no such thing.
Believe it or not their marriage did survive that.

Just be careful when wearing it thru security. Dearly departed 88-year old grandmother got frisked up and down because of her girdle that had metal stays in it.
Of course, depending on the frisker, it might not be such a bad thing...*smooch*
