6hrs in Denver

Hello all
My 15 yr old daughter and I have a 6 hr layover in Denver. It is from mid morning to mid afternoon during the week. Any ideas how we can spend the time? Have never been to the city before but have spent a lot of time in the Rockies.
Thanks

You be safest spending the time wandering around the airport; getting to and from (and re-doing security) will be cutting things dangerously close, given the distance to anything from the airport. It's also pretty expensive (unless you try to rely on a bus).
However, there are some nice glass displays on the bridge to terminal A, lots of shops, tvs and comfortable chairs in the main terminal, etc.

I agree, stay at the airport. As soon as you got anywhere you would need to start back. the airport is way out in the middle of nowhere.

About 2 miles from the airport there is an "airport hotel neighborhood" that has some restaurants.

Is it worth about 120 bucks to you? Plus whatever you spend in Denver in the 3 hours you have to there?
It takes you about an hour from touchdown to getting into downtown Denver (LoDo). More if you have to wait for bags.
Here's the schedule for cabs - buses would take you too long:

Your call.

Concourse C has no shops to speak of. I think A has some shops and restaurants.

The previous post is misleading. There are a number of shops and restaurants/eating places in Concourse C.

The bridge from the terminal to concourse A always has an art exhibit that is kind of interesting.

I said "to speak of" There is a news store, a western store, MacDonald's, Mexican resto, TCBY maybe. But not the number of stores I have noticed passing through A. Denver does not have the shopping concourses that many other airports do. I am sure every concourse has some shops.

There used to be a place in the main terminal that offered massages--that might be a fun way to spend an hour.
