I'll be there for three days in December, and I'm going over to Saipan for a day. Frankly, Guam doesn't seem that interesting to me, but I'm using it as a hub to get to Palau and Yap. I read the chapter in the Lonely Planet, and nothing really jumped out at me.

It's been awhile, but other than water sports, consider:

- a "boonie stomp" or hike off the beaten path, usually through the jungle
- Latte Stone Park to see the stones ancient homes were built on
- Visiti Talafofo or Tarzan falls
- Visit Two Lovers Point
- Visit the cave the Japanese soldier hid out in until 1970 something
- Eat great food at the Chamorro Village

It's a beautiful island. Enjoy your visit.

You probably should post this on the south pacific board, not the US Board to get more of a response.
