5-6 days in Utah middle of May 2018

That sounds like the one that I was recommending above. If you go back to my post, you can see a link to photos that I took on the trip. It is worth waking up a little early because the early morning light brings out the red in the rock and enhances the experience. The company that I was writing about has its office about a ten minute drive at most from the Bowen.

Ruby's Inn is a total tourist service organization.
We usually have their buffet
If you enjoy BBQ, I highly recommend Cowboy Smoke house in the historic town of Panguitch.
Their historic homes is the worth drive.
If you are a amateur historian of the west, this is where John Doyle Lee as captured and buried.
When you drive into town, there is a statue of a man holding a quilt blanket
This statue honors the brave and durable 1864 pioneers who settled this town
To avoid starvation, a group of men crossed the mountains using blankets to walk across the deep snow to Cedar City
There, they obtained food and walked back.
It is about 15 miles from Ruby - well worth the trip.

If it is dark by the time you get to Green River on day 4, stay in Green River and head to Moab after breakfast. There are scenic stops on Rt. 12 and a stop at Goblin Valley SP would be good too.

First, I thank you all for your information. I now have one more question about the drive from Bryce to Moab/Arches, We confirmed and changed all the lodging reservations, except the 4th night is still open. We already committed and PRE-paid the 5th and 6th night at the Bowen Motel. Since we plan to drive from Bryce to Moab in the late afternoon, may be we can stay somewhere on the way close to Moab. As Tomfuller suggested Green River or Goblin Valley SP are two possible choices. Are there other suggestions that we might consider before reaching moab?

We stayed at the River Terrace in Green River. It was really a nice motel with wonderful made to order breakfasts. There isn't much for food options in Green river but a place called Ray's had very good burgers and some local color.

Town of Torrey
Many modern motels at the junction of 12 and 24
More economical in the town
Cafe Diablo is THE place to dine including a fine selection of wine
Chef Gary Pankow is a graduate of Culinary Institute of American
Leave in the morning and revel at the Scenery of Capitol Reef Park

Longer driving time from Bryce to Moab, but DEFINITELY scenic, you could consider driving highway 12 to Torrey, then 24 to/through Capitol Reef NP and up to I-70. Or you could overnight in Torrey, see a bit of CR in the morning and continue on to Moab.
(Bryce and Capitol Reef are my favorites.)

emalloy and Ray place
Actually they have excellent hamburgers with heaps of fried onions.
Also micro-beers.
We always stop there.
If you have time visit Powell Museum located at the east end of town.
If records pioneers rafting the Colorado River

Backing up to this...Sunset is at 8:24 in Moab on May 17th. It will still be light out til 9ish but you'll start to see more animal activity at twilight. You definitely have enough time to get from Bryce to Moab on day 4.
Also, keep in mind you have 6 days total. Everyone has their favorite places to visit, but right now you're being told to visit Zion, Bryce, Capitol Reef, Goblin Valley SP, Dead Horse Point SP, two separate sections of Canyonlands, and Arches. You're going to have to edit that list to something more reasonable. If it makes sense to drive through somewhere on the way to something else, great. But you don't have a lot of extra time to add everything that's suggested.
