30th Birthday Vacation ideas?

Hi,
I'm newly married and trying to find somewhere to take my husband for his 30 birthday coming up in October. We are considering Las Vegas but hasn't felt quite right. We aren't sure we will have fun there.

A little about us: very hard working so in desperate need of a great vacation. I am young 24 and of course he is turning 30. We aren't rowdy or ghetto but we would like to party and maybe go to a good strip club. Also some activities like a gun range, jet ski or off road driving, non motorized activities too. I do want complimentary breakfast and a 3 + star hotel.

I live in Orlando but don't want to stay in Florida. I am ok with paying for my own activities or if its included even better! My price range is $800-$1300.

I appreciate all your help!

Is that price for two of you? How long are we talking about - a weekend? I would think airfare would take most of your budget.

Ad if you want to to do off road driving, jet ski and visit a gun range you are obviouisly not headed to New York. (We have almost everything here - but not any place you can ride an ATV, Oct would be way too cold for a jet ski (even if you would be willing to risk one in NY harbor with the massive amount of shipping - as for a gun range ???

So you might start considering places quite a bit farther south for jet skiing and much more rural for riding an ATV.

Las Vegas would have almost all of your requirements. You really should investigate that option a bit further.

Las Vegas is not only about the gambling. We visit Vegas once a year, for a week, usually in January. We are not gamblers. There are so many other ways to spend your time.

But yes, it is fun to walk through the casinos just to see the glitz and to see how different they all are.

Las Vegas is probably your best option. ATV link - http://www.lasvegasrazoradventures.com/
There are a couple of gun ranges where you can fire a machine gun on full auto.
There is a marina out at Lake Meade. I don't remember the jet skis. Take the time to see Hoover Dam and Valley of Fire while you are out east of Las Vegas
