2 Foxwood area hotels

Has anyone ever stayed at the Ramada-Norwich or the Hilltop Inn/Suites close to Foxwoods? Any other recommendations or places to avoid in that area?

Thanks!

If the Hilltop is Clarion Inns and Suites in Groton -- DO NOT go there. It's a dump and not cheap. It's one of the worst places I have ever stayed.

It's the HillTop Inn/Suites in North Stonington, CT (3 miles from the casino). Their web site says it's new but they don't show any pictures of the rooms so it's hard to tell what it's really like. I'm also curious because it's only $50/night with the Entertainment Card!

try the Norwich Inn for luxury. Very nice place..expenisve, though. There is also a Hilton in Mystic as well as a very nice and clean Holiday Inn in New London right on 95.

I stayed at the Groton Inn and Suites. It is a family run hotel ( a bit run down) but the room was cleaner than most hotel rooms and they were super accommodating, it is also much cheaper. I would stay here again.
