1st Time to Vegas

Going to Vegas at the end of September, first time there. Was thinking of getting tickets to see Danny Gans and Skintight. I'd love to hear reviews if you'd seen either one.. Staying at Paris, any feedback would be appreciated.

Ask for a "P" room at checkin, they're bigger.

I reserved a room with the view of the fountains, is that the same thing?

Saw Skintight about a month ago since I had some free tickets. It's a cute show as long as you don't pay more than $20.00 per person to see it. Take it for what it is. It's a show about breasts...nothing more, nothing less. I think the show goes for about $40.00, but you can find 2-for-1 coupons in all the free magazines around town. Most likely, you will find one of these magazines in your room when you arrive. If not, you can usually find them near the front desk, bell desk, or concierge.

Donna, no, P rooms are the corners, they are bigger and have windows on 2 sides. I don't believe you can reserve them but you might be able to add a memo req to your reservation or just ask at the desk. You may or may not get one.

Also on Danny Gans, he has been cancelling a lot of shows due to "illness". The rumour is that it is his contract which is making him ill and he wants out. I was there last month and he cancelled all shows. You might want to make sure the situation has stabilized so you don't get your hopes up and then be disappointed when you show up and have to scramble for another show.

Donna,
Check out the half price ticket booth at the M&M World by the MGM Grand. They open in the afternoon and have tickets for many shows at half price. If I recall correctly, they had Skintight.

O.K. thanks, so it seems that I really shouldn't buy my tickets in advance and wait till I arrive in Vegas?

The best shows sell out months in advance, get Danny Gans ASAP. Have a great time, just returned myself.
