Oh, and one thing not mentioned- buying those great hot sweet nuts from the street vendors when it is wicked cold outside (which we will do btwn Christmas and New Yrs, I just booked a room)
and street fairs all over as you walk around during the summer (as I will do in a few wks)
and the Grrenmarket at Union Square, which I am returning to on my upcoming trip
I LOVE NEW YORK! The greatest city in the world.

Thanks for topping this. I saw the first response with the WTC and I was shocked – then I saw the date. What a loss. Weird to see the things you can’t do anymore. Like the Roosevelt Island tram.
But we can add see the SI Yankees play and come back on the SI Ferry. And Café Wha – still the best birthday I ever had!!!
