Stroll around Colonial Williamsburg of course! This could easily take up 2 days.

Mid-County park has an area for younger children. Walk up DOG St. in CW to the Courthouse and sit in the grass, visit Yorktown and play on the beach, drive down the Colonial Parkway and stop at a pretty spot to enjoy the water and beaches, ride the ferry and feed the seagulls, go to Pierces for barbecue and sit outside and let baby play in the grass -- there's tons to do around Williamsburg. I would stop and buy an inexpensive ball to bring to play with.

If they feel like driving, the Virginia Living Museum (30 min away) is fantastic! Also Yorktown beach is really fun (but might be too warm then). Kiwanis Park is a good playground, as is Kidsburg.

I agree with nina! Put the baby in a stroller and tour Colonial Williamsburg.

Just got back from 3 days in W'burg with my 21 mos old. It was great. She loved the pool and running around in big open areas, playing in the rocks and dirt, watching people and "flirting" with other sightseers. She loved the animals at CW - the farm on the very outskirts was great - ox and chickens and a garden. She also liked the fifes and drum parade on Saturday. She wasn't as great inside buildings, but she loved the grounds and the jail! She loved the playground Kidsburg at midcounty park - we went back twice. She also enjoyed walking with us as we played mini golf at Mini Golf America (right on Richmond Road) they gave her her own ball and plastic putter which she carried around. She also liked Jamestown because it also mostly outside. We had good kid-friendly dining experiences at Second Street Pub, Casa Maya and Sal's by Victor. Nothing fancy but good food. Enjoy!
