1 night stay in Cottonwood or Prescott AZ - May 2023

Travelling in May 2023 with my husband. 14 day holiday, starting in LV, Flagstaff, Antelope Valley, Monument Valley, Grand Canyon, Sedona. We are heading back to LV for our flight home and thought we would overnight in Cottonwood or Prescott. Advice greatly appreicated.

Flagstaff and Sedona are not that far apart. Are you staying in one or the other (or both)? Depending on what time your flight out of LAS is, you might want to stay at the Hoover Dam Lodge or maybe in Henderson. Rental cars are still a little cheaper per day in Las Vegas than other places. Hoover Dam is a good place to stop on your way back to Las Vegas.

We stayed in Cottonwood a few years ago. We enjoyed the small town, friendly vibe. We stayed at The Tavern, in the old town and loved it. Be sure to check out the wonderful Copper Museum in nearby Clarkdale. We spent several hours there since it was so fascinating!

We also wine tasted and had lunch at the Page Springs Winery. Lovely setting.
