I just booked an Egypt trip in April 09 with Vantage Deluxe Tours. They have 4 nights Cairo, 3 night Lake Nasser cruise and 3 night Nile cruise. I also travel alone and felt that I needed a tour for Egypt. Their website is: www.vantagetravel.com.

Good luck

just been to jordan. a small enough, very diverse, terribly interesting country. safe and easy to travel. it would be good weather at that time. ie. not too hot.

alternatively if you would prefer to get away from it all - head to west africa. gabon is wild, and french. cameroon is utterly beautiful, french and english, mali is english and has a mix of sahara and tropics, arab and african culture. loved it.

I really liked Costa Rica and Madeira which you did not mention as having visited. March is OK for both.
Also Vietnam is definitely worth a visit.
Bon Voyage

Have you toured Europe, Paris, Berlin, Vienna, Venice etc. you could fly into London for a few days, then take the eurostar to Paris, then off you go...

I haven't been to these places but just render it as suggestions. After all, you've been to *almost* everywhere!

Bhutan, Mongolia, Nepal.

Israel is one of my favorite countries. Small, easy to get around, many sights, varied topography. And Very easy to do solo!

Hands down, the British Virgin Islands. Take a Windjammer Barefoot sailing cruise.

How about Monaco, then Andorra, then fly to Barcelona to join a cruise of the Mediterranean?

We arranged a nine day escorted trip around Iceland, called Iceland Complete. It was intended as a fill-in before we went on a longish European riverboat cruise which we thought would be the trip of a lifetime. Iceland turned out to be easily the best holiday that we have had in the last twenty years, the riverboat along the Rhine was incredibly boring.
