Our anniversary is coming. I need ideas!

I’m running out of ideas as to how to surprise my girlfriend on the day of our anniversary. My girlfriend used to put up a lot of effort in surprising me. She’s very sweet. She doesn’t mind being the one who takes effort in surprising me though she’s a lady. Don’t get me wrong. I do surprise her too but she does most of the time. She’s fond of surprises, that’s why. This time, I want to do the same thing for her. I want to make it up for her. I want to see her happy. But how? I want a unique surprise but I don’t have any idea of what I should do. How about Ukraine ski trip? Will that be romantic? I’m confused as to what to do now. Can you help me out with this? I badly need suggestions.

Where are you located?

How far do you want to travel?

Hawaii is romantic.

A Ukraine ski trip?
Does she like to ski?
Won't she need to know ahead of time to pack for something like that? A BF once surprised DD with a ski trip with no warning. She was miserable without proper clothes, etc.
It does not matter what we think is romantic. Options are endless. You must know what she enjoys. Has she ever talked about a place she wants to go or something she wants to do?
Where are you currently located? How much time and money do you have?

A trip sounds like a fun idea. Then reality sets in. You need time off from work. You need tickets and a hotel room. Like Sassafrass said you need the right clothes and things. Sure, you can buy or rent some things at the destination, but that costs money.

You say your "anniversary is coming". If it's in the next few months I'm not sure there will be enough snow for skiing.

And why Ukraine? Is it close to your home? Or is it just the cheapest ski destination you could find?

How about a gift certificate to an airline - let her pick where she would like to go!

Take her to candlelight dinner at the restaurant, book a whole floor where you and your girlfriend share the table. Book the restaurant staff to arrange all the surprising stuff like cake & music. After all, at the end give a ring or any gift you want to give.

Hope, you are getting my point.
