Oh, thanks for posting. I thought so and I will check TSA listing just so I will be properly informed.
Suze~ I started just to ask you. My kids are thinking about going on quick trip to ST John and $ is tight for them. Breakfast/snack items would save a little.

Well thank you, I'm flattered ;-)
It's OK. For some food items you need to check local customs regulations, say for bringing in things like fresh fruit, seeds, meats, etc.
But granola bars, nuts, microwave popcorn, oatmeal packets, cereal, etc. are fine.
You do need to be aware of the normal "gel/liquid" ban that could be imposed, so something like peanut butter might not make it thru.

hi joethebear~~
Will they have a way to make hot water? A kettle or coffeepot or microwave? If yes, soup packets are another handy thing to take along. Teabags, instant coffee, powdered creamer, etc.
Not to pack of course, but if they do have a coffeemaker in their room you can make hard boiled eggs in one of those. (i'm full of cheap travel tips -lol!)
