Looking for destination suggestions

Hi everyone! So my husband and I are looking to plan a trip for the month of May and are in the process of researching different destinations. We are looking for the entire trip to be between 10-14 days long. We are in our mid-20s, have no children, and have a moderate budget of about $5,000 to spend on this vacation. Last spring, we traveled to Paris and Rome and absolutely loved both cities. This year, we are looking to perhaps travel somewhere where we can spend time both relaxing and exploring. We love trying new food and drinks, so the destination has to have an interesting and delicious cuisine! Other than that we are open to trying new things, especially outdoor activities. At the top of our destination list are Greek islands or Mediterranean area, and Bali, Indonesia. Do you have any other suggestions of beautiful destinations that would fit our preferences? Thanks in advance!

If you're thinking of Indonesia have you also considered Thailand? The flights may be expensive but mot other things once you're there will not be. Amazing food and opportunities for scuba/snorkel at the beach as well as mountains.
