Long term medical insurance
Hi , asking for a friend . He has a long term youth exchange Visa so will be in Europe for a year .
He's Canadian.
He will be mostly in france, Spain and Italy . He will be working in kitchens ( he's a chef )
he is wondering about a good company to get medical insurance with , the quotes he's getting are running about 1600, is that about fair ? I've only ever gotten it for 4-6 weeks so not sure .

I can't answer your question, but would note that you might want to try posting with another title -- "long term" insurance could (I think) be mis-read to mean long-term care insurance, a very different beast entirely, at least in the U.S.
