How many have received one of those extortion emails?
Found one in my junk mail today. I do not look there often, so it is probably not the first.
They claim to know your password ( they don't) and to have a screenshot video of you "enjoying" porn along with a split screen of the purported porn. Demand 2000bitcoins within 24 hours, or the video goes to all your contacts. The font is interesting---some of the letters are in the Cyrillic alphabet.
I have seen mention of this here before, but I am curious how common this is now. Needless to say I will not respond!
Just something to talk about instead of coronavirus. We should be in Italy right now, but we are glad we are not.

never received anything like that - you must have some very creative spammers
The worst I get are occasional "your Amazon account . . . yada yada yada". Used to get a lot of 'Male enhancement . . " stuff but Haven't seen one of those in several months.

Update; And I'll bet he never dreamed he would get caught.

Did you happen to note the full "address" of the sender? I'm getting a lot of spam from Nigeria lately This includes everything from those billion dollar inheritances to the ones that appear to have been sent from my own email address. Annoying to say the least but basically just that.
