That is probably true, but the culture of Fodor's is much less tolerant of repeatedly denigrating other posters and/or their postings (vs. for example, Thorntree).

Improviser, the "mea culpa" is you attacking everyone all the time. As above, this isn't the Thorn Tree.

We are polite here for the most part. And try to answer the questions as asked, not just spout off with our own personal opinions about everything.

Trip Advisor is pretty much run by those with destination commercial interests, much more so than this or other sites.
