Connection Time for Dulles
I'm flying standby from Portland, OR to Copenhagen with a plane switch in Dulles.
Will an hour be enough time to get from a domestic United gate to a Scandinavian Airlines international gate?
Also, does anyone know, if I check in online before I leave Portland, am I safe to head straight to the SAS gate in Dulles once I land?
Thank you!

Your info is a little vague. Are you flying standby only to Dulles or are you also trying to fly standby on the SAS flight? Which airline are you flying from Portland to Dulles? Will you have checked luggage or doing carry-on only? If checking luggage does the airline your are flying from Portland have a baggage handling arrangement with SAS? The answers could affect the success or unsuccessful of your 1 hour connection.
Assuming only carry-on luggage - You can access all airlines once you are inside the secure area at Dulles International so if you are arriving from Portland and have already checked in on line and have your boarding pass for your SAS flight you can proceed directly to your departure gate. A 1 hour connection time should be sufficient assuming your inbound flight is "on time" but you won't have any time to dilly-dally when making the connection.
