VISITS TO THE PINK HOUSE in Buenos Aires
If you are in Buenos Aires (or are planning to come to our great cosmopolitan city), during weekends from 10 am to 7:30 pm there are 'guided' tours to the Pink House (Casa Rosada, where our Presidenta works). Entrance fee: free
As far as I know they are in spanish, guided by granaderos (the guards at the Pink Housr) But if by chance you are having a guided tour on your own, don't hesitate to tell your guide to take you there. It's an amazing experience, you can see the architecture and the wonderful sculptures and paintings, as well as the Patio with huge palm trees.
If you are a fan of arquitecture and arts, you can't miss this visit!

After visiting Casa Rosada, I think it would be fitting to go to the Evita Museum in Palermo and enjoy walking through rooms full of everything about Evita Peron .. The music is wonderful and the cafe downstairs is too !

not_enuf_vaca: I really don't know but tomorrow morning I'll try to phone the casa rosada and ask for that info. But I'm sure you will be able to make this visit since they are doing it due to our country's bicentenary (which will be on 2010)
What I can assure is that it is only available on Saturdays and Sundays
By BA guide what do you mean? a company? or a guidebook?

I've just called the Casa Rosada and they told me they don't know if the tours will be available during the holidays. What I suggest is for you to ask the concierge of your hotel if he could check if the tour is still running or not.
As for the guide, you can try the one Scarlett suggests or you can check with other forums and see which are the most recommended.
