Well, maybe you know BA has a large Jewish community and even a predominantly Jewish quarter.
Not too far from the Plaza San Martín area, where the Plaza Hotel you asked about is located, you have the site where the Israeli embassy used to be, certainly a place of pilgrimage for Jews visiting BA.
BTW, wordsmith1, the hotel I suggested in another thread http://tinyurl.com/m2mef8f is owned by a quite observant Jewish family. That hotel's concierge should know about other Jewish sites. I suggest you e-mail him about it. [email protected]
Have a great time in our town.

Thank you very much, wordsmith1, for your kind acknowledgement of previous replies.
That said, a simple Google search of "jewish tours of Buenos Aires" yielded many results.
But I would rely on Sandra Gutrejde who owns http://www.batravelguide.com/ and has given consistently good advice about BA for many years as: http://tinyurl.com/k9fs5j2

AV Rooster's recommendation of Sandra Gutrejte is an excellent one.
Another Jewish Tour that was very highly recommended by dear friends visiting in March is:
Mario Braun
