4M was fine. If you haven't done that leg (Arequipa to Colca) be prepared for some very high elevations mid route. You don't stop for long.
I will look forward to your Colca Canyon report. Third time will be the charm. Killawasi is a great choice. A place I would have liked to stay longer.

Will you have time for Sucre? El Hostal de Su Merced is another one I liked. Got a good rate booking direct and asking about discounts. Looks like it still gets top marks on Tripadvisor and the same nice manager, Carmen.
