Stephany, you will be fine, and so will I !! I'm travelling to Argentina this winter, and I've been trying to learn basic Spanish , but I'm not good with language.
But thanks to people like crzn1 for giving us encouragement, we'll be fine..... I hope !!

You might consider purchasing a MARLING Menu-Master for SPAIN. Eating in BsAs restaurants is such a wonderful part of one's voyage, that even with pathetic Spanish (such as my own) one can at least be reasonably understood (and comprehending) in restaurants - it helps with marketing too.
Do not fret, in Buenos Aires trying to speak Castillano will endear you to the Porteños, and your lessons with serve you just fine - I am sure of it !

Great trip report.Thanks for all the details. Argentina is one of my favourite place. Although I went there in 2006, I still like come back here to read people trip report and get more idea for the future I go back there.
