Travel to Peru in 2 weeks
US>BA>Iguassu>Cuzco->Macchu Picchu>Lima>US 2weeks?
I am planning a trip from Atlanta to Buenos Aires and a quick stop to Iguassu Falls (i guess the argenian side?) then go to Cuzco and Macchu Picchu and return back to US in two weeks. I know this is jam-packed but I don't mind and can't take longer time to explore due to work. Is this doable? We are not planning on hiking nor doing the Inca trail. I was thinking of Lake Titicaca and Arequipa-but not sure due to time. I only have May, June or July to go because of work. Which month would be better? How long would you suggest staying in each place? Would you recommend any of the journey with a travel group/company? Looking for inexpensive options. Thank you!!

It may be doable if you spend only a day or two in Buenos Aires and perhaps fly to the Falls and back to BA, then to Lima and on to Cuzco. But what quality of trip are you going to have? To me, this trip would leave me in a blur.
Why not just do Peru OR Argentina. I'd vote for Peru and you could see a good bit in a couple of weeks. Spend around a week near Cuzco, then take the train or the tourist bus to Lake Titicaca and then back down to Arequipa. Leave at least one full day for Lima to look at the archaeological museums and the Plaza de Armas.
I'd vote for July if you're going to Peru--it's dry season.

Impressive though it undoubtedly is, I would leave Iguazu out and stick to Peru. Travel, even flying, can be very time consuming in South America where airlines are not renowned for their efficiency. Two weeks is a decent amount of time to explore at least the south of the country.
Iguazu needs 2-3 nights to visit both sides of the falls and I feel it is a bit of a waste of effort to visit only the Argentine side.
In two weeks it would be pretty straightforward to visit the main sights of southern Peru by flying into Lima and then to Cusco for maybe a week, visiting the Sacred Valley, Pisac, Machu Picchu etc. Then head up to Puno for Lake Titica for a couple of days before heading down to Arequipa and maybe the Colca Canyon. From there you could fly back to Lima which is worth a couple of days.

"Would you recommend any of the journey with a travel group/company?"
I have an excellent recommendation for you in Lima for a private guide. His name is Aaron Paiva Leyton. Here is my review: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showt...8#post42288448 Here are some photos: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showp...0&postcount=12
There are many other good tour guides and companies in Lima, but with the home-cooked, authentic Peruvian meal Aaron provides, no other tour guide or company compares. Be sure to check out the photos.
