Salta-Purmamarca-Salinas Grande-Salta
Hello,
This is my first post on here. I miss the Thorn Tree forum but I'm sure here is even better![Imported](https://www.fodors.com/community/images/smilies/imported/smiley.gif)
I am travelling to Argentina in a couple of weeks with my wife and mother-in-law and are heading to Salta I was hoping to travel to Purmamarca and then see the salt flats, Salinas Grande.
I know this is ridiculously ambitious but we want to do this in one day and leave very early to see the Cerro de los Siete Colores in the morning light and then have the afternoon in the salt flats before heading back to Salta.
Seeing as this is a lot to do, public transport seems out of the question, so has anyone hired a driver for the day or has done a similar trip who can advise on the practicalities/ price?
One last thing, is it fine to travel from Salta state to Jujuy state, so there are no restrictions covid-wise?
Cheers,
Admanistan
