Wow, four days in Quito, sounds great. the Old Town is great; lots to see and do. The gold church (La Campania), the Basilica, the plazas, La Ronda street at night (it's dead during the day). The Banco Central museum, and the Guayasamin museum. We loved Otavalo; stayed the night and the area is really nice. Buy good leather stuff in Cotacachi, a $5 taxi ride from Otavalo.
