OK, so tell me again, which Vistadome seats?
I found a post that mentioned which side seems to be better on the Vistadome train to MP and even seat numbers. I think they were A 1 and 2. We have a reservation for November.
Now I can't seem to find the post. So please forgive a senior citizen for her forgetfulness.
What side? Which seats? Thanks

A 1 and 2 are at the very front of the train. If you look at my Machu Picchu photos, the first 10 photos were taken from seat A1. (http://photos.patpom.com/5138720 see MP Album) Get those seats if you can they are great and you can take some great photos.
If you can't get those seats, at least make sure you are on the left hand side of the train on the way up to MP and the right hand side on the way down.

Going to Machui Picchu,1A & 1B in car A are the first seats on the train, so you Have a winmdow right in front as well as on the side.
Coming back, our train had the A car at the end,so no front view at all. It is always best to be on the side next to the river, so be on the left going To MP and on the right side coming out of MP.
