EASTERN ISLAND: is it a good investment?

Ciao, I write you from Italy (it is always better for me to say so I can use my bad english..., sorry).I just bought the air ticket for a trip to Chile, from 8 Nov. to 4 Dec. The first question I have before starting the detailed planning of the trip is: IS IT WORTH TO GO FOR 4 / 5 DAYS TO EASTERN ISLAND? I think that it is a unique place and our could be a unique opportunity BUT it is "not for free" so this is why I REALLY appreciate some comment / suggestion / idea.... GRAZIE! Arrivederci

Ciao! We were there for 3 nights and loved it - highly recommend it and think it is worth the cost.

Here is a link to our blog with lots of pics

I'd second Elizabeth_S recommendation - we visited for 3 nights last August and really enjoyed our time there.

We stayed at the inexpensive but pleasant Tau'raa Hotel and booked day trips and a dawn visit to Tongariki through the hotel. Everything in the main town is within walking distance of the hotel.

Sure, it's a good investment! Travel is the only thing you buy that makes you richer, and visiting an island such as remote and unique as Easter Island really makes you rich of experience! Check it this site, it has all travel info and Easter Island info you'll ever need:
