I would be very happy with your list of wildlife sightings – sounds like a great trip, and loved your report. And no, we do not need air conditioning, just running water and a private bathroom.

Good to hear you had no problems in Cusco – that was one of my main concerns. We will probably try to have a full day in Cusco before and one after the jungle tour, to allow us to explore Cusco and also make sure we can make our flights.

Tambopata sounds like another good option – I really have a lot more work to do, to decide between Manu Wildlife Center, Explorama, Inkaterra Reserva Amazonica (that someone else recommended) and now, Tambopata. So many otions….The flight arrangements from Tambopata makes it very appealing.

I forgot to mention the long nose bats and the guide AT NIGHT spotted a porcupine climbing up a tree. We also so a puma print only a few days old near our terra firma hike.
