Kentucky Derby
I’m planning to check off something on my bucket list and attend the Kentucky Derby in 2026.
We’ve just bought our tickets for the Oakes on Friday and the Derby on Saturday. We’re looking for a “reasonable” hotel with a good location. We’d like to keep it under $400 a night. Any other suggestions of must sees, restaurants, or special Derby events will be appreciated. BTW, we’re two young women in our 70’s! Thanks for any advice you can give us.

don't know if a 50 minute drive is out of reach, but we had a fantastic experience at The Bourbon Manor bed and breakfast in Bardstown.
