Las Vegas,Luxor MiniSuites

Does anyone know if the MiniSuites of Luxor are comparable to the regular/standard rooms of the luxury hotels such as Bellagio or Mandalay Bay or Venetian in terms of luxury and comfort?WE seem to get prices which are quite similar and confused as to which one to pick. Thanks

I hope this help. I have stayed at the luxor and did not enjoy the room at all.We had a king deluxe, the biggest problem we had was the layout of teh elevators. They are arranged so that you have to takeseveral different ones to get to you're floor. verrry confusing. Casino is very nice and over all the only complaint was the elevators.

Stayed in a junior suite at the Luxor for our anniversary a couple years ago. It had a big jacuzzi tub in the corner under the window looking out at the strip. The bed was in the same room, with a little side area with couch/TV. No big deal, but the jacuzzi was very good!

Different elevators? I don't know what the first poster was talking about. In any event, we stay at the Luxor every year. We try to stay in a mini-suite. They are awesome--separate bedroom, large bathroom, large sitting area, bar area, etc. It is definitely worth the upgrade!

Joseph, at mid-range hotels like Luxor the suites aren't actually more "luxurious". They're just bigger.
That is, the furnishings, etc aren't nicer, though the bathrooms and such are bigger.
The quality of the interiors at places like the Four Seasons and Bellagio is much nicer. That said, however, the majority of LV visitors don't really care all that much about the quality of the interiors.

I totally agree with gplimpton. Suites at the Bellagio, Venetian(all the rooms are suites), but they also have bigger suites, and especially Four Seasons(Extremly expensive), should not be compared to the mid-range hotels suites. Will you enjoy Luxor mini-suite? yes, I'm sure you will, unless you're very picky about your lodging choices, in which case you should move up to Bellagio or Venetian, and if you really want to spend your vacation in total luxury and be pampered then spend the big bucks on the Four Seasons.
Have a great trip!
