Treviso Connegliano Vittoria Venetto or all three from Mestre?
Ciao Group
I am planning to lodge in Mestre for 8 nights with time spent mainly in Venice and with possible day trips to verona vicenza and padua (currently these are the most firm) and also Treviso. I feel like Bassano del Grappa and Asolo may not be worth the traveling time and effort but am open to others' views on that. I recently became aware of Treviso as a convenient day trip city and see that Connegliano and Vittoria Venetto are on the same transport line with some possible good and good value food options. Can anyone comment on the value of visiting any or all of these little towns (particularly the last three mentioned)? I'm assuming that at most 2 could be considered in a single day but is one or more more worthwhile than the other(s)? Primarily interested in general atmosphere and wandering around and in good eating/eating establishments. Also, I'm fairly sure that padua vicenza and verona will be worth the trips, each on separate days, but any nay layers are welcome to comment. Thank you so much!!

I’ve only ever passed through Venezia Mestre but have had two short stays in Treviso and recommend it. It’s an attractive, relaxed place with very good transport links to other places.
In your situation, I would consider splitting your time between Treviso and Vicenza but having a longer stay in one place is always nice.
I enjoyed my visits to Bassano and Asolo.

Thanks but I wouldn't do both in a day under any circumstances and vicenza is close to mestre as well. Question was really about the worthwhileness of these towns as day trips. As I said I'm pretty sold on Vicenza but couldn't find suitable accommodation there unfortunately.
