Berlin: where can I go at night?

Hi! My friend and I plan to visit Berlin in early February, but only for one night. We don't want to rent an apartment for this, but want to see Brandenburger Tor, make a long walk down Unter den Linden and drink German beer What bars/pubs work all night? Not very noisy. Rather, comfortable. Thanks for answers.

It's a bad plan. Please book a hotel room.

UdL is the site of the major U5 reconstruction that's going on. It's a long street.

Why would you talk about renting an apartment for one night to begin with? Have you ever heard of a hotel or hostel????? And do you know how cold it can be in February?

If you really want to hang out in a bar all night, that is NOT the area to do it. It's too upscale, bars don't stay open all night around there. Try a hotel bar or an area that is younger with more nightlife, like Kreuzberg or Friedrichshain. And don't expect cosy and comfortable, that isn't the kind of bar that stays open all night. The kind of people that hang out in bars all night are generally more rowdy and lowlife.

Here's one example

So anything open in Berlin until the morning is going to be a club and it won't be comfortable or very quiet, for the price of a couple of Beers you can get a room/ bed at one of the hundreds of hostels around town. Look into baxpax Kreuzberg or industrialpalast, these are hostels located in nightlife areas of the city, and unless you plan on dancing all night I doubt it's easy to find a chill bar that wants tourists just chilling all night.
