Finally, I have desinged this route. It will be 2200 milles in 21 days. I do not know if It will be too much...but in USA everything is so far.... ;-)

12, Ashville – Charleston

16, Savannah - Saint Augustine
17, Saint Augustine – Wakulla Springs – Panama City
18, Panama City– Gulf Islands National Seashore- Scenic Highway 30ª - Destin – Pensacola

A lot of driving, but maybe doable.

Again, I would stay at Wakulla Springs or maybe Apalachicola rather than Panama City. In any event, Destin instead of Panama City.

Yes, dwdvagamundo, I am afraid about travelling so many hour by car. But I do not find other way of doing these visits...

You could play it somewhat by ear but I'd cut a day from Asheville and add to Charleston.

Hi Gretchen, thanks for your advise but I am afraid I can not do changes on my Asheville days since I have made a closed reservation in an apartment. On the other hand I thougth that three days on the same stop would be a good reset on our road trip...

I'm very excited about this trip. I am travelling from Europe and I think I will see very different areas of USA although many miles....

Looks quite doable now that you have some programmed stops.
