Long term forecasts, especially for foreign countries, are very inaccurate.
Even with rain every day, I can't imagine it lasting more than a few hours. Last time we were in the area, it rained nearly every day, but we still got plenty of sun and beach time.

Before we left for our trip to Costa Rica a couple of weeks ago, I checked the forecast as well. Rain, rain and more rain it said. I was so down and prepared myself for the worst. I was pleasantly surprised that we had very little rain and quite a bit of sun. The forecasts are not accurate and if I were you, I wouldn't worry about it. The rain we did have occurred over the night and sometimes in the afternoon, but it was never anything that would ruin any plans we had made.

Despite rain in the forecast almost every day, it actually drizzled for about 10 minutes for the entire week. We enjoyed spectacular weather, and the Hilton was a great choice of hotel for us. Great pool, superb staff, and lots to do just a bus ride away.
