Hotel in Cabo

We will be staying at the Fiesta Americana for 5 nights, and are debating whether we should stay an extra 1-3 nights. If so, should we move from Los Cabos to Cabo? Any hotel recommendations if we just want to lay on the beach and go to good dinners and out for cocktails at night?

If you want to be in Cabo for a few days, I suggest one of the following hotels because they are located on Medano Beach, the main swimming beach in Cabo. The Melia San Lucas, the Pueblo Bonita Blanco, or the Pueblo Bonita Rose. All three are very nice, and in addition to being on the beach, they are within walking distance to town, lots of restaurants and many places to have cocktails.

Thanks we are taking your advice and staying a few extra days, just looking into Melia San Lucas or Bonito Blanco. Any suggestions when comparing the two?

The Melia San Lucas and the Pueblo Bonita Blanca are right next to each other. The Melia has a swim up bar, the Pueblo Bonita does not. However, I believe that the PB is newer. You might want to do a search on Trip Advisor to see the reviews there for both resorts. Hope you have a great time in Los Cabos.
