Hotel Brisas del Mar - Zihuatanejo

Has anyone stayed at this hotel? Any feedback would be appreciated.

I know B del M well-in fact last I was there the Spanish/English dictionary I donated was still on the Front Desk.
Great location-new suites are now better value although to my mind the whole of Zihua is now overpriced.
Easy walk into town along the beach-but a steep climb to/from the beach.
The restaurant situation changes constantly so I can't comment except to say that it was fabulous last time.
The famous Zihua Rob of the eponymous site never mentions that hotel because it's against his 'religion' to keep an animal in a cage and they have for many years kept a deer in a large enclosure near the pool.

Hi Deborah,

Did you end up staying at Brisas del Mar? How was it? we're planning on staying there in June.

Thanks,
Sandra in Seattle
