We stayed at Capitan Suizo but it was pricey - yet worth it due to being RIGHT on the beach, and an 8 minute walk from Tamarindo, so it is peaceful. Their property is GORGEOUS and of course you are welcome to check it out - I wish you would - You may want to go back to Tamarindo just because of Hotel Capitan Suizo - we will!!!! Pura Vida

I agree, Capitan Suizo is probably one of your best options. You can also consider Calaluna hotel.
