villas nicolas or el parque in manuel antonio

I have to decide between spending 10 days at Villas Nicolas or Villas El Parque next August. What would you recommend? I'm most interested in a place with great ocean views, a balcony to enjoy them, kitchen(ette) and A/C or enough cool breezes for the August weather. I'd appreciate your comments. Many thanks!

We stayed at Parque in the beginning of June. I was not impressed. The view was spectacular but the linens were torn and some of the oldest I've ever slept on. We got coupons for drinks at the bar by the pool but the bar was never open. The place needs new linens and fresh coat of paint. However, breakfast was delicious and our balcony was huge and very private.

Hi,
We will be staying at Villas El Parque during Christmas. Besides the linens and the bar never being opened, anything else that we should be concerned about??
Was it CLEAN?

Which room did you stay in? The views are the most important thing to me at this time!
Thanks, Jayne

Hola Latina,

We just got back from CR and stayed at Makanda by the Sea in MA. I saw the sign for Nicolas, but didn't see the villas and didn't see anything called El Parque.

But Makanda was very nice and has everything you are looking for, you should check them out.

Good luck!

Yes, it was very clean. We were in room "17 up" and I think it was the best. It was far from the road. I think "17 down" had a kitchenette but ours did not.
