Vacation in Belize or Panama??
My boyfriend and I are trying to choose between Belize or Panama to vacation in August 21-28th. We are 27 and 32 and love the beach. I recently went to Costa Rica and loved it so I am looking for something similar.
We love the beach, but we also like to do other outdoor activities as well as visit historical places like the ruins in Mexico or the Arenal Volcano in Costa Rica. We would like a place that has some soft of nightlife also. The only other concern is that we don't want to spend an extravagent amount of money, but we are willing to spend money doing on doing cool tours or activities.
Any advice would be appreaciated. Thanks.

We love Belize - Maya ruins, multiple cultures, amazing caving, hiking, canoing experiences, great diving and snorkeling, and it's easy to plan trips since the national language is English and there's a strong internet presence. My photos and travelogues are below. Happy trails!
