travel within argentina

I will be in argentina the last week of july and first week of august. I will be staying my first few nights in B.A. and then would like to to the falls and patagonia. Does anyone have suggestions on the best way to travel within the country. If air is the best way to travel should I buy the tickets here or when I arrive.

thanks for any help.

The best way is by air, tickets are innexpensive if you buy them in advance, You will get international fares if you buy them through your local travel agent, I suggest you to contact an argentinean travel agent in order to get local fares wich are far better due to the change rate, try Cintia from wowargentina.com; excelent service.

good luck

Definitely go by air. Check out "Asatej" travel agency. You can get really cheap flights through them. They can also be found on the internet. Then you don't have to pay international fees. I used them to book three different trips within South America. The falls are worth any time you spend, and I am tremendously jealous that you will get to go to patagonia and ushuaia. I wanted to go there more than anything, but I ran out of time.

Enjoy your trip!!!
