OAX to Huatulco maybe 8 hours with the new highway on the first class route via Salina Cruz. The last time I did it, less of the road had been completed and it took 10. Now the second class won't be a whole lot shorter like it used to be.

Playa del Carmen is about half-way between Cancun and Tulum. Figure about an hour from Cancun to Playa, and another hour to Tulum.

You can fly from OAX to Huatulco on AeroTucan for a little over $100US. Tickets can be purchased downtown Oaxaca, near the zocalo.
