side trips- booking in advance
Planning to go in March and looking at making side trips to Peninsula Valdes and to Salta. Is it better to go with an agency in the states to book the package trip or one in Buenos Aires. Do most o fthem include the airfare. I heard it might be cheaper to book them in the states before arriving. Any advice. ?

It is almost always less expensive to book with an Argentine agency than with a U.S. agency. See the previous thread for recommendations....Cintia and Mayra in particular do an excellent job.
Check prices to verify because there might be an individual exception, but normally you will save money by working with someone from Argentina over on foreign group.
