Santiago Restaurants

We are spending two nights in Santiago before our cruise and are interested in enjoying a couple of good meals there. Any recommendations?

We were there in Nov and liked these:
Donde Augusto in El Mercado - lunch/comida - had best Sea Bass and great Paella (del Mar) with a bottle of Cousina Macaul Riesling.
Galindo in Bellavista - lunch - pastel de choclo and a delicious (20% discounted $9.20 US) bottle of '04 Ventisquero Syrah Reserva.
Just around the corner from the hotel we had wonderful dinners at De la Ostia (fr trout and calamari salad with local sauvignon blanc) and LeFlaubert (Duck and Veal Bourgainon with a Cl Pinot Noir).
Other hotel guests were raving about Aqui Esta Coco.

We enjoyed several restaurants in the Providencia and Bellavista areas plus one near Las Condes.

- Astrid and Gaston - Providencia
- Aqua - Las Condes
- Bar Liguria - Providencia
- Azul Profundo - Bellavista

Here's a link to our blog with lots of food photos from these restaurants

Bar Liguria was so noisy I thought my ears would bleed.
The 1/2 rabbit was wonderful.

Thanks Mikemo and Elizabeth. We certainly won't go hungry in Santiago.
