We have an 8 hour layover in Santiago enroute from New Zealand to Lima. Does anyone know if there are any premium lounges at the airport that we can pay to enter?

I don't know about lounges, but an 8 hour lay over would give you time to see something of Santiago. Rather more interesting than staying in the airport.

I believe Delta operates a lounge there, and if you go to their website I think they sell day-passes.

I think they charge about $25 US for a day pass in the lounge at Santiago, someone was handing out flyers when I was going through last time.

Thanks all. that is really helpful.toid - your suggestion is very valid although as we are working our way back down the continent from Peru, it is our intenttion to spend some time in Santiago then. Having said that, if our flight is on time (unlikely based on our experiences sofar on this trip!) we may well take up your advice.

There are a few lounges at SCL. LAN and AA are two that I recall. You might be able to gleen something from the airport's site:
